TR2/3/3A HS6 on a TR3A.. What about the choke?

I'm mounting HS6 Su's on a TR4A manifold on my TR3A. I have a TR4A head also. Gary Martin has the carbs, linkage and manifold for polish and rebuild at this time. He's going to send them to me next week. So I have heard that I will need a longer choke cable to use the HS6's. Does anyone know?

Also I'm wondering about the filters, will K&N 1 3/4's work?

Bottom line, has anyone done this and what did they experience?

I thought a while ago Don was doing this on a resto project he was working on.

I would appreciate any input as I have never been steered wrong by this group...

Thanks as always,
