How old are Austin Healey owners?

54 born in 53. My 65 BJ8 was my Dad's until about two years ago when he gave it to me and I started to put it back together. I went along with him when he bought it from one of his coworkers in 1970. He let me drive it once in while when I was staying out of trouble. I bought a 69 MGB in 1973 and kept it for a couple of years. That was also a fun car but even when I owned the B, it was a big treat to drive the Healey !

61 Bought my 1960 BT7 in 1963 when I was 17. The reasons my parents did not want me to buy it weren't clear to me until I had teenage boys. Cost me $1,800 which was every dollar I had saved to that point. Went off to college in it thinking life could not posibly get any better than that. The good looking car attracted a good looking young girl and 44 years later, the Healey, the girl and I are still together. Life did get better.
