How old are Austin Healey owners?

I'm 56 in June. Bought my '66 BJ8 in 2000. Sold a sweet '61 MGA that I owned for 16 years to help fund the purchase. Love the Healey, miss the A.

What a great post! Lots of interesting answers. I'm 49. I think both of my boys, 15 and 12 really love and appreciate the Healey for what it is, but the lure of Ferrari or Lamborghini is awfully strong...

53, bought when I was fifty and had a lot more money in the bank than I have now. Full restoration. I will drive it for the first time this weekend. I feel 16 again!!!

I'm 48. I bought my BJ7 when I was 45 and after doing a resto this is my 1st year of driving it and I must say I'm lovin it!

This question is bringing all of us lurkers out of the closet! I've seen names I've never seen before! Great to see!

54.5833, born in 52. Bought first Healey ('62 Sprite) in 1968 for $200.00. Drove it daily until I went in the Navy. Gave it to a cousin. It is still in the family today.

When I take my 100/6 BN4 out of the garage I feel like 81.

When I put it back I feel like 18.

At the moment I'm 43.

This is fun! I am 63, bought my 65 4 months ago. Bought my 57 100six (while in college) from my girlfriend's dad when she was away for being a bad girl. She was rather up-set when she returned. No 1st or reverse, $150 as was. Should bring the curve up.

I'm 34. Bought by Bugeye last year. Been a car guy my whole life (I wanted to be a car when I grew up), but only recently had funding and a garage to actually pursue the hobby.

I think that we should applaud everyone under the age of 50 that has an interest in the LBCs. It's people like them that will keep our cars going long after we're unable to. Personally, the lower the median age of this survey, the more encouraging I find it to be.

im 36 with the patience of an 18 mo old! I'm 1 1/2 years into to a 2...4...5...okay...10 year resto!

And I'm doing my best to get my daughter interested... maybe I'll have a little more success with that when its back in one piece again....
