58 as of yesterday, first healey (Bugeye) in 1967, second Healey (1959 Bugeye) in 1981, third Healey (100-6) in 1983, forth Healey (67 Sprite) three weeks ago, and fifth Healey (1959 Bugeye) today. Still have all but the first one.

To all the young Healey Lovers & Owners:

1. Known fact: When you have a Healey you are never over 25!

2. Who is going to continue on wiht our beloved toys we we can't get into them anymore?

54 going on 19.

I'm surprised to see how collectively young this sample this. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Internet. Maybe the typical (age-wise) Healey owners are not here because they aren't big Internet users?

Reid you are likely right. I regularly receive calls from folks in their 70s who do not use the internet.

I am 47

Good question. My own daughters, sons in law, & grandchildren do not have the slightest interest in old cars or anything else old. I would rather "give" it to someone who is really interested than let my kids have it, if & when that time comes. I'm quite certain that one of them would trade it for a new truck & the other one would trade it for a horse. The grandkids would destroy it in a short time. No answers here. I hope others have a better outlook.

Dave Russell: Or sell it for as much as they can get!

I was 21 when I had my first Healey. I am now 65 and the proud caregiver for Agatha A Healey, a factory certified 100M. I can't begin to say how much I enjoy just driving her.

Working on a laptop as desk unit is with the Geeks-now that's a scary thought! Ergo the keyboard is just too tight and my fingers feel strange. I guess I am just not to kind with change.

Now 64--I owned my first Healey (BN7) when I was 18. I bought my BN1 in 1998 and my wife's BN7 about 5 years later.

And BTW I'm first in line for Dave's BN2!

50 this year - owner of a 67 BJ8 #42804

bought it when I was 49 - when I could afford it

49, if you can trust my wife. My son loves the Healey and will carry on the tradition.
