I was in a situation where I had 3 project cars (and numerous boxes of parts)in the garage (and stashed here & there) but not enough space to work on one, which was "Earl" my 60' AH Bugeye project that I got back in August.
I just took 2 weeks vacation & completed building & "filling" 2 storage sheds, fortunately in my township you can build a 12' x 16' without a permit
, so I built 2 of them, one I call the "Triumph Shed" & the other is the "Spridget" shed to house all of Midge's (my driver 67'Midget) & Earl's extra parts.
The most excitement was saturday night when I finally had all parts stowed & I got Earl in place & assembled the front sheetmetal with spring clamps to make it look like a car again - now I need to build a rotissarie & get "rollin"
Us LBC'rs must have a few bolts loose, who else would be excited about storage sheds for a bunch of ol' british car parts let alone blow 2 weeks vacation to complete such a task ? ha ha good stuff, like a family friend who has owned & restored LBC's all his life warned me, it's very addictive & they have a way of following you home !
I know everyone likes pictures, so here are some - one of each shed & one of Earl looking like a car... a very sick car but a car all the same.
