Every year around this time, Hoosier sells their "old", leftover 2006 race tires.
I bought some last year and I just bought another set this week (I bought a set of four 225/50-13 for the Escort for $407 including shipping).
Hoosier only charges a $7 processing fee and shipping is free on their old stock, no matter how many tires you buy, so it's a good deal all way around. And these tires don't need to be shaved like the Kumhos and Yokos I also run...that saves $15 a tire.
The choices are limited, but they do have some nice "vintage" sizes and some "rains" that would be OK for a street car that is only driven to an occassional autocross or show.
