I would have no problem at all driving it as is, but it looks like a great candidate for restoration. Back in the long ago days of college my best friend had an MGA in fairly rough shape. He got T-boned at an intersection and managed to straighten it out a bit but the doors would no longer close. Solution? he removed the doors and installed safety harnesses scrounged from an RB-66 Hustler bomber. (I don't know how he came up with them but he was well connected with the military) In any case I can assure you that tooling around with no doors was a real experience.

An observation..

Now that my A is on the raod and looking pretty as a picture...

I must admit that I have received more comments and complements from passers-bye when I drive my rattie, rusted, un-restored '66 MGB than when I drive my glossy, shiney, looks almost new, '57 MGA...
