Hi Folks:

Thanx for the Input relative to My Friends "Alfa/Duetto": It really is a Nice Driver: He has "7 of them" & I thought I was "Car Crazy"! Most of them in Parts/One being a "Nut & Bolt" Rest! But, As I suspected; He would be welcome to come to the Show in His Car but Probably would have to Park Her in a "Non-Triumph" Corral:

See Ya All There:
"Is It July Yet"?

PS: Should I want to find an Individual(First & Last Name) that May be a member; What do I need to do??

Hi Toys
I have a 65 TR4A that is also unrestored. I am the third owner, and I too have the original window sticker, and sales receipt. Neat stuff. I call mine a "toy" as well. I am preparing a binder with all the documents (copies) to brings to shows with the car.

I sure hope your friend brings his Alfa to VTR2007, I love Alfa Romeos. Hope to see you at a DVT event soon.

Hi There kindofblue:

"kindofblue"? Looks "kindofgold" to me? Does that mean in Her Previous Life, She was "kindofblue"?

It`s Great when You have Stuff like an "Orig. Window Sticker" etc: I feel Its kind of Priceless: What did Your TR cost When New? Where is "Glenside" compared with say, "Stroudsburg or Allentown"?

I feel quite certain My Buddy Ed will bring his "Alfa-Duetto" to the VTR: Lets definitely, Somehow, Somewhere get together: I will be in Dover @ Moss for their Spring Thing; Whenever that is & Whatever may come up!!

Regards, Russ

Hi There 2wrench from the "Eastcoast"!

Hi Dennis;

Thanx for the Welcome Wagon: Boy, Wish I could Help You out with the Pic thing but I can`t think of anyway to "Simplify" the Process!!

I used to vist "Irvine, CA" a few times a yr (Bus.Only-Too Bad): Real Nice Place to Visit! Where is "Tracy" relative to "Irvine"? Just Curious:

Watch Out All You Californians: The "Global Warming" is in Effect! The "Eastcoast", Sooner or Later, will be Having S. CA. weather before Long & Vica-Versa!!! Please keep the "Land Slides, Brush Fires & Earthquakes" in the Western Hemisphere!!

See Ya All (Next Weekend - 50-55deg)!!!!

Old gold was white originally. Like yours white/black. (If I ever get to a respray, it would be wedgewood blue) I got my name from the Miles Davis album. I was also kind of blue when I joined years ago, I had a Triumph but couldn't drive it. It was a TR250 barn find. I sold it to Australia last summer and bought the 4 from a fellow DVT member.

The car was $2934 plus $253.95 in factory options and $180.00 in dealer options. The total was $3367.95. Less $463.70 for storage and trade in on TR4 with a blown engine. How much was yours? I don't have the window sticker, just the original sales receipts. I have the receipt in 1971 when it was painted "Nugget Gold" a GM color.
Glenside is right off the turnpike exit for Ft.Washington. I am just south of the PA turnpike, off of 309. If you have ever been to our annual Hope Lodge British Car Show, I am only about 4 miles away. from there.
Here is my web page with pictures of Old Gold, the TR250, and misc English cars.

Hello kindofblue:

I used to Practically Live in Ft. Washington: I always Met a Cust. at the Holiday Inn for B`fast: I suspect You`ll be at the VTR in July: I`ve been to the Hope Lodge Show but Not with My TR: I plan on it this yr.

My TR cost, Including Options and Shipping was $3287.00, "New"! Man; They both were "Expensive" little Toys for their Era; Would`nt You Agree!!

See Ya All Later;

Russ
