Friend of mine rented a big Lancia in Europe last month...I took it for a drive one day....gotta say,, it wasn't anything to write home about when comparing it to my memories of my old HPE...&, yes, I'm saying that in a bad way! The new Lancia was very uncomfortable - dash layout was beautiful but it just didn't "feel" right....don't think I'd spend the cash if it were imported to the US!
 
Braubus (after market Merc tuner company) crammed a Mercedes twin turbo v-6 into a few of those cars... twice the cylinders = twice the fun... right? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
 
Not only did I see regular Smart cars on the road in Germany, I saw Smart convertibles & 1 Smart 4-door! I think I'd be scared to death to put one of those things on the autobahn!

They're about the size of a traffic cone when you overcome one at about 160kmph on the autobahn....sneeze & you miss seeing it!
