I like it! Old school LBC rod! Hope to see it at LoO!

C'mon guys it looks like poop!

But it is fun to drive and work on!

It looks better than mine. You at least have tires, wheels, brakes, shocks, engine, trans........ etc.

Actually I think it looks preaty good.

One of these days you can restore it and with all your effort it will not be a difficult job. You will have all the parts and everything will be working.

It could have space in my garage.

Not to me it doesn't, it looks awesome. Glad it's coming along.

I want that engine in my Mini! Very nice!

It's "stealth".

Honestly, I think the little car is harder to see than the shiny green Midget. I've had tons of people pull out in front of me in the few days I've been driving it. Hopefully, the police won't notice it either.

That certainly isn't an "Ugly Bug" anymore! You will have to re-christen it the "Stealth Bug"!!! :cowboy:

it is beautiful, I need a BE for my 66 Sprite. Not sure my wife would like another car in the garage.

How did you route the lower radiator hose. On Pop's bugeye with a 1275 and supercharger, the lower hose needs to go right where the supercharger belt goes. We are using the original radiator like you except in aluminium.

I followed the suggestion in the Moss instructions. I didn't use their measurements I just "eyeballed".

Nice work, Trevor. Not very ugly, though. I like the flat black look. Should be a fund driver, that's for sure!

That looks excellent! I love the flat black. Now you just need my white walls and red wheels to complete the look! lolol

Hey... I didn't know you were running a blower. Cool! I knew your midget had a blower but I didn't know you also had one in the BE. cool!

ehhh... the midget has no power plant (it was donated to the Ugly Bug). The midget will either get an japanese engine or a turbo 1275. I'm anxious to talk to Glen in Missouri.

BTW John, are you going to be at the Ozarks? I'm sure they could squeeze your MGB in there.

Or better yet... just fly into St Louis and I'll pick you up at the airport.

Ah! If I read your signature I would have known your plan.

Thanks for the offer! I would have loved to go, but unfortunately, I started a new job last fall and I've been crazy busy. I'm not even sure I'll make it to my local club's show. (sad!)

But I am making time to go to MG2008 in Philly. That's my own personal vacation this year.
