Help testing motor

Mice packed my heater box and chewed the blower motor wires. Not realizing this I turned it on and a small fire started. I was able to put it out before any serious damage happened. My heater box is out of the car. I re-soldered the motor wires, and hooked it up to the battery and nothing. Before I take the motor apart, I wanted to ohm it and see what was happening before I took the motor apart. When I first turn on my ohm meter it reads 1. When touch the two test leads it reads zero. When I hooked up the positive test lead to either green wire and the negative test lead to the negative, the meter remains unchanged at 1. I am confused by this - can someone help me out?

Circuit shows open, turn the motor while it's hooked up and see if it changes. Might have trash in it. It might be fried. I've never ohm'd a motor together. If I suspect something I've always tore 'em down and looked.

I might have a spare motor laying around if you need one. Let me know and I'll see if I do. I don't think that I sold it with all of my other stuff, but I might have.

I have a working motor, less the fan which I just tested and it works fine on both speeds and is quiet. I sent you a PM.

It's packed up and will go to the PO tomorrow morning.
