Good day all, I wandered into the MG forum and was made aware by some nice folks there that I own a Spridget (fairly decent 78 Midget)and might do well in this forum.
I have a few questions about what might be gained by adding a header and different exhaust. The existing exhaust has a cat converter, muffler and resonator and not in the greatest shape. I currently have the stock zenith carb. As $ presents itsself I was thinking the twin SU carbs or a weber. Other than that I will not likely do to many mods (student budget). In the meantime I would love to get rid of this rattling restrictive (I think) air box inlet tip. Any ill effect to this? Thanks for any info, experience or comments.
