I installed the other head with no plug problem yesterday. I took all the valves out to replace the valve seals and found one valve guide had moved down and busted. I pushed that broken one out and pushed one out of the old head and into that one. It worked out well and I lapped all the valves as well with some grit.
I got it all back together but when I went to torque the last rocket bolt, it stripped out at the nut. I was one of the long ones and I just had to order one. Found one on Ebay that was NOS for $4 but had to pay $6 shipping.
