Just jumped back into the hobby again after a 20 year sabbatical. Found a nice solid Bugeye in need of a new home. I’ve had later vintages but never a Mark 1. It’s running very well but an earlier restoration leaves much to be desired. Plans are to drive it for a while until the Florida summer gets here then get it in the shop to strip and paint. I’m hoping this forum will provide the knowledge needed to make this a proper restoration. My goal is to keep as close to original as possible.

Yes. Having had the 1275 in the past it could definitely use more power but at my age it’s adequate.

How much power do you really need to go get ice cream? :ROFLMAO: One of things I love the most aboiut mine (admittedly a 1500 Big Block :D) is that I can thrash it all I want and never break the speed limit. Welacome and we are glad you are here.

Welcome to BCF and congratulations on the Bigeye << (autocorrect!)
