Thanks for all of the help and coaching on this, first time doing a head r&r.

i picked up the Ultra Cooper gasket material, it says to run a a bead aroind the bolt openings but should I also run one around the liners? Wondering if that would help, but also don't want any gasket materials in the cylinder openings of course. I am thinking the metal rings on this gasket would take care of it but seemed work asking.

Thanks!

Glad I asked - I picked this up;

On the gasket. I hang it up with a wire thru one of it's small holes and spray both sides with several light coats.
Do that several hours before installation.

Thanks guys - picked some of the Cooper spray up today and just coated the headgasket on both sides.

Appreciate the coaching!
