Had our last Hayfields meetup of the year this morning. Kept the top up and the heater on. Usual crowd, but only 3 TR 6's. Two most exotic cars - an SS 100 replica with a 4.2 Jag engine and a radiator emblem that says Jaguar, and a BMW 507. I took a few pictures with my little point & shoot Canon but don't know how to post them here.

Paul - do you know how to upload the photos from your camera to your computer desktop?

When you make a post (or reply), you see a row of icons and letters just above the post window. Click the third from the right (looks like a small square picture).

Then follow this video, starting at 1:00.

Voila!

I'll try to send the Hayfields pix. After 30 frustrating minutes, I managed to upload them. Now if I can find them... IMG_1598.jpgIMG_1599.jpgIMG_1600.jpgIMG_1602.jpgIMG_1603.jpgIMG_1604.jpgIMG_1605.jpgIMG_1606.jpgIMG_1607.jpgIMG_1608.jpgIMG_1609.jpgIMG_1610.jpgThe TR6 is mine.

Paul - the photos came through great. Thanks for posting. What's the car in the next to last photo (long, low, black).

all the cars a nice

1. That black car appears to be a Ferrari - maybe a 308? There were about 4 there.
2. Hayfields is located on route 121 in North Salem, NY. It is a farmstand with a kitchen serving bacon & eggs, bagels, toast and sandwiches plus coffee and. There is a sports car meetup the first Sunday of the month in season. It takes me about 35 minutes to get there from Stamford over really great smooth roads with sweeping bends, some tight - perfect for a vintage sports car. 50 mph is about the right speed. Only problem especially in summer are bicycles - tons of them. Not many LBCs this time. 3 TR6's, one MGB, several Lotuses, that SS Jag replica and a Lotus Cortina. Several of our TR6 owners were working on their cars and could not make it up. You have to get there early to get a space. It's becoming too popular. I had to park in the driveway, leaving just enough room for others to get in and out.

Ferrari, for sure. Early 308 from the looks of it.

The black one in the second to the last shot is a 246 Dino.

The black one behind the red 360 Spyder and yellow nose Alfa is a 308 GT4 (Dino).
