Has anyone tried this with their Healey?

I remember that commercial; my first sportscar was a (new) Blaze 1973 MGB.

"MGB gets a jump on the competition" (or something like that).

Yes, I've seen that one before. I also heard that the MG that was dropped could not be driven and had to be flat towed back to the factory. The identical car was sitting waiting for the driver. That explains the "quick" cut away from when it landed to the time the driver took off.
However, there has been times when I felt like throwing my Healey out of an airplane.

johny, ive allways felt the mgb to be the perfect vehicle to be tossed out of any high speed high alt. conveyance! - oh boy i can hear the sound of many ruffled feathers.

Ruffled feathers? Turkeys can't fly?

Opps. Is this not helping?

I do miss the joker and devil icons....

In the "MGs in America" video, they talked at one point about this commercial. The first was crashed, parachute didn't deploy I think. They claimed it on insurance. I seem to remember the chap recalling the story joked about trying to sell it as a low mileage car. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
