Here's my Dad's old Ford (I think a '47) taken around 1967. Flathead V8 with three speed on floor. Starter button was on the floor but the igniton key actually locked the steering (like a modern car). The kids in the back are my younger siblings. I drove this thing all through the South Jersey Pine Barrens before I ever had a driver's license.
"And I also suddenly have some extreme garage envy."
Forget about garage envy, I have wife envy, do you guys see whats in her hand. I'd kill to get a wrench in my wifes hands sometime. Merry Christmas everyone.

As long as we're doing Christmas Pics of our better half. You may recall yesterday I posted about helping Mrs Basil make 4 dozen Enchiladas? Here she is with her sorority sisters yesterday, Christmas Eve (the blond second from left) helping in the kitchen at the local Ronald McDonald house for families with loved ones with cancer.
