Haikus from a Bugeye Ride

Went for a ride up river to get some ice cream. My wife wrote these two haikus:

HAIKU #1
Hair whips 'round my head
Eyes close and I imagine
I'm twenty again

HAIKU #2
Cruising down Main Street
Man with laundry smiles and waves
I wave back and grin

Yea, wish I was 20 again.

I really don't wanna be 20 again, but if riding in my LBC would make me about 40 again, I'd never get out . . .

HAIKU

?? ok explain this to a low country boy
is it abrevation? cause I sure can not find it in my desk Dictionary

I have figured out it is a short expression of an emotional feeling that seem to be different than actual reality caused by the current surroundings expressed in a sonnet

I love haiku!

gesundheit

Summer season here
an evening drive cut short
Lucas laughs again

Wind and sweat in hair
The road is felt in the hands
And in the heart, too

Miles and miles of smiles
Smiles for miles and miles
Bugeyes

I like that, but technically not a Haiku: the syllables have to be 5-7-5. If I may plagarize it?....

Miles and miles of smiles
Smiles for miles and miles and miles
My Bugeye smiles too.

Fire up the car,
I want to drive to some tunes--
Radio is gone!

(Hey this is fun--thanks for this thread!!)

Kick the wide fat tires
Light up the evil combustion hade's fires
Screamin' Mimi is about to cut loose

Rain drips on my legs
My hood's seams all leak water
Spridget in a storm

This is a perfect. You win haiku!

Now you will have super lucky big fun time!

 And some more...

Put oil in one end--
Oil leaks out the other end.
That's the Spridget way.

Redlined my Midget
Fifteen Hundred, drove it hard!
Thrust washer fell out.
