So I have really been enjoying my bugeye since getting my hot 948 built by Hap installed. The car is a whole new animal I can actually keep up and stay ahead of modern traffic. The problem I keep running into is my rear H1 carb. No matter what I do I can not keep this think from being overly rich. Front two plugs always look good but back dark. The fixed needle seems to rub no matter how many times I try and adjust it. These carbs were rebuilt elsewhere (not Hap) and seem to be really nicely done. I am about to just give up and switch to HS2's. Anyone else ever have this much of a headache with H1's?
