GT6 GT6 Head on TR6 Block

Hey all,

Is there any noted differences between a late GT6 head and one off of a late TR6? My understanding is that if I elect to do the swap, the CR will go up pretty dramatically (which is one of my goals), and that I might have to switch to the shorter GT6 push rods. Anything else to consider? Bad idea? My stock head needs to be completely rebuilt anyway, and the swap might prove to be a little more economical.

Thanks for any tips / ideas...

Sleepy, if you are talking about a 72-73 GT6 head, you should be OK, but if it is a earlier head you will have problems with the intake and exhaust manifold, they were different after 71 on the TR6 and the early GT6 was completely different.
