GT-40......Toast!

They won't stop making new ones until people stop buying them. Crash away! Just don't crash the ones they don't make any more. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

These type of people aren't worthy to own these type of cars!
I like to hear people (at places like Monterey,CA.),say
things like "I'm fortunate to be able to afford a car like this.",rather than the usual (SUV like)-"I deserverse this!"

...#1. DEALER PLATE! Oh man, I'd hate to be that salesman. The driver deserves to get yelled at.....

No problem. The "skilled" driver in question is the son of the Ford dealer. He's probably already got another one.

Wonder if "daddy" even knew he'd taken the car off the lot?

Whole thing smacks of sophomoric stupidity.

I imagine it smelled quite different at some point during the experience.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

hmmm... wonder if they remember clean under-britches that morning... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Probably didn't matter how clean they were when they started out, the undies were most likely soiled by the time they broke the concrete berm before hitting the pole. I know mine would have been. A fool and his money are soon parted. At least he was allowed to keep his life, we don't know what his dad the dealer did to him though. Hopefully consequences were swift and just.

I'm sure the insurance companies will let them know what they think of all this... both the dealership's and the driver's...

I wonder what they're gonna do with the driveline? Hmmmmmm....

put it in a 70 VW Bug... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

I could tell you some good recent "owners son" and "bosses son" dealership stories. But I still work there, And I like my job.
I'll just say, if he was my son..........

... I was freinds (sortof) with the local Ford dealer's son in highschool. What a spoiled brat!!!! (notice I said sortof - well, I knew him anyway)

I remember a local news personality taking a dealer Ferarri out from a big party to impress a girl. He put it in a ditch and totaled it. Or something like that, the details are a bit shady in my old mind.

I remember seeing video a few years ago of an automotive journalist at a press gathering running a brand new Ferrari across a walkway and into a wall when he went wide around a corner. Funny and sad, fortunately I don't think anyone was hurt.

Sons AND daughters... stupidity borne of privelege seems to have no gender bias. Indulgent (or factually ignorant) parents are the usual culprit.

"Oh, the stories we could tell..." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

There was a kid in my high school that got a new Firebird for his 17th birthday. He may have had it as much as 2 months before he totaled it (his fault). As punishment, his dad bought him a Trans am. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
