The easy answer is to look at the specifications of the original fuel pump that came in the MGB. For the AUA 150 pumps used on the early (up to mid 64) MGB is 1.1 Pints per minute, for all the later MGBs using the AUF 300/AZX 1300 series pumps it is 2.4 pints per minute. Note, if you look at the Burlen Fuel Systems web sites, the specifications for volume will be slightly different as they are given in Impeiral pints or gallons.
Looking at Dave's figures, it can be seen that the pumps used in the early MGBs was barely adequate and is probably the reason forthe switch to the later pumps (besides the better flow smoothing features of the later pumps.
