Got a Dan Dare hardtop today for my Sprite

Yeah Hairyone, those pics load slow, although my screen size stayed the same (in both Safari and Firefox).
So, do standard side curtains work this this top? It looks like the top's bottom edge is in the way of the curtains in Terry's pictures. I like the rounded off look compared to the factory version.

That weatherstripping looks just like one of the choices from JC Whitney.
The round one with the little flap out one side.
Does the little pointy flap point out towards the back of the car or in towards the cabin?

This top should work on the MK1 Midget and the MK2 Sprite without any trouble.
YMMV of course and take measurements before purchase!

Thanks for the pics Hairyone, they are large but they really showed me what I needed to know!

To me the rubber in your pic looked like this one:

I also just got a Dan Dare hardtop for my frogeye.
Mine was (still is) a bare shell. There is a company over here in
UK that still sell this. I have just taken delivery of a replacement
window, bolts to hold it on & rear body rubber.
See photos.

Can you take a closeup of your underdash heater, if it has one there? I am assuming your
car is right hand drive?

Hey Harrone - you were linking to pictures that were each over 1.5Meg byt6es (huge). This was causing the thread to load very slowly (and God help someone with dial up). I took the liberty of downloading your pics and re-sizing them to about 1/10 their original file size and placed them on my server, then edited your post to link to the re-sized version.

Which top is this and is this how it's supposed to fit?
Ebay

Not factory.
