Good hard top on flea bay

I would jump on it, but given that mine is a BJ8, I do not believe this would work for me. Other posts I've read indicate this earlier(?) hardtop is not interchangeable with the BT7's and BJ8's. Looking at this, the base curls down and I believe the latter design's base runs straight, among other slight modifications, yes?!

And if I'm right...too bad! It's already in the right color for my car.

Ya, but it would look good on the right car...

Correct, the earlier tops don't fit the BJ7 or BJ8.

John,

Just curious, is the shell the same with the only difference being the base and rear window?

In other words, if the shell is the same, then is it out of the question to further try to modifying it to match the hard top design used for a BT7 or a BJ8?

Just bringing this up since it's next to impossible to get a correct hardtop for the latter models, yes?

Paul
