What cha gonna do now! Looks better than new, by the way.
HAHA, actually still needs mirrors installed, headlight rigs installed, and alignment. Then, weather permitting, I plan on driving the heck out of it.

That looks insanely fantastic! That color is beautiful! Do I recall you saying that was in fact a Volkswagen color, or am I remembering something/someone else?

It is a Volkswagen color "Mango". Once is stops raining I'll get pictures in the sun. The color is real nice when it's outside.

Very nice, Rusty. I've really enjoyed your photos here (like we need to be reminded that TR-3s are totally sexy and beautiful cars).

Really Really Nice. Thanks for the inspiration Rusty.

Cheers,

I like the pale Yellow, gives it character.... looks like you will be very happy with the result, hope it will drive as good as it looks!

My own 2nd redo of the 59 TR3A is just being completed, just think in 16 years you can do yours all over again like me:smile:

Here is the TR3 at the final location before it comes home to CA. It's in for a 4 wheel alignment, headlight adjustment, fluid and brake check. Then it will be carefully placed inside an enclosed trailer and brought home. Only weeks away from the ultimate driving experience!!

Well, my 1st time ever to drive a TR3 was this last Saturday. 5 years of restoration and the perfect 80 degree weekend to break it in. These cars are great! We cant stop driving it. We took it do a local get together for it's maiden voyage and met some great people. It was well worth the long wait. :driving:
