Stuart Little drove a MkII Sprite in one of his movies....an Austin Healey 3000 in another.

I never knew... I'm just sick and tired of getting 2-3 of their junk mailings every week, and shoved in my vehicle registration envelopes.

so ... did the Gecko add the exterior door handles?

I thought it was a Jag in those earlier commercials.

GEICO - Government Employees Insurance Company, started out primarily hawking their wares to military enlisted personel and other non-coms. They went national after that. Their counterpart was USAA, United Services Automobile Association, a company that catered to military officers and their families. They too went national recently. I have been insured by USAA for 38 years now. All my sons have them too. Good solid, conservative company. But, GEICO has a caveman.

...around Washington DC they were always known as the company to stay away from too. Nobody ever had anything good to say about them. I guess they've improved a little, maybe

He drove a beautiful Jaguar XK120 Roadster in the TV ads. Even had his own parking space at the office for it.
