TR6 Gearbox fill-TR6

After replacing the (3) small 'O' rings that surround the 3 shifting rods in the gearbox and re-assembly, went to fill the gearbox...it would only take about 16oz before spilling out of the fill hole. I thought it should take more...not sure how much, but more than it took. What have I done wrong...this time???

Bentley says 2 pints from dry non OD, 3 1/2 pints with A type OD and 2.66 with J type OD

you should be good to go
dont even ask what type of fluid to use or the thread will go ballistic!

Hondo

:iagree:
It's not all that critical. However, depending on what you are using and how cold it is, it may be worth waiting a minute and seeing if it will take more. Especially since that is two Imperial pints (2.4 US pints).

Hondo, we have another thread going on that already.

Let the games begin.....
