Unfortunately the strainer is part of a housing, at least on my 65, so it is not possible to really get at it, I pu a lot of time in on this thinking I had it licked, unfortunately there is some kind a debris in there that seems to settle in the wrong spot over time, to fix that I undo the fuel line and blow air into the tank, works but I've had enough. I see where VB has tank, straps, and sender as a kit for $180.00, that will work just fine, they charge more for the tank alone.
