Amazingly the kids still hot rod their trucks and the light aircraft traffic has not slowed down.

When ya gotta go, ya need go-juice.

I'm an enthusiastic fan of the recreational use of fossil fuels, but just now it's more of a "plan trips, consolidate with routing".

...and I'm pi**ed off big time. $5.70/gal for what is essentially kerosene. Bottom of th' vat, used as cleaning fluid in days gone by.

Ever notice that as the prices of fuel rise, so do the profits of the fuel producers?

hmmm - and as Connecticut stopped charging state tax on gasoline - the price of the gasoline went up the same amount as the tax went down.

yeesh

We ( in the uk) are approaching £2.00 a LITRE in the uk for diesel (£1.98) and not a lot less for regular petrol. Premium petrol for the tr is the diesel costs.

google tells me our £1 is $1.23
Your gallon is 3.785litre.

Thus we are paying just under $9.20 a us/gal. Diesel

is that where you are at ?

I know here in the US Midwest it isn't that high, yet. More in the $6 or so range for diesel and $5 for gas. But on the west coast at least from news reports it's pushing $8 a gal in places. This is when I'm glad for work from home and most weekdays I don't need to drive anywhere.

Never thought my Wife's MINI would take $67 to fill. The Rover was that much most of the time with twice the tank. Running old gas out of RV and have to renew, at least it takes regular fuel.

Here gas just dropped back under $2 a litre - last time took $90 for my wife's Mini - and the tank wasn't empty.

At least I can go 375 miles without stopping to charge, at whatever speed I want.

How about having the hat concession?? Only one style, everyone wants one it seems, so just a few different sizes needed...

Uniform of the Day in Lancaster, PA. & Mesopotamia, OH.

There was a small community of Amish near Enon Valley, PA. with a market, mom would take us to it when I was a kid. Cheeses to die for!
