Someone posted here recently about an intermittent fuel problem. The car would go for a time, then stop and eventually resume, only to keep repeating. I just got out of the hospital after 7 days caused by complications from a kidney stone. I was fitted with a catheter ( don't ask me to go through it again) and sent home with 2 stents in place and the stone still there awaiting further surgery to remove. Without going into the gory details, I underwent 36 hours of excruciating pain caused by the catheter being blocked by blood clots. Apparently despite the clog, some fluid did get through thus temporarily relieving the pain. I was too stupid to realize there was a problem - just though that was the way it was, not realizing that the catheter was supposed to drain 24/7. Now there is absolutely no difference between a fuel line and your urinary tract. This isn't rocket science. I'm convinced that the poster's fuel problem was the same as my catheter drain - enough fuel would sneak through to run for a short time at which point the filter would clog again and the cycle would be repeated. I have to go back in next week to get the stone out for good.
