California scooter laws require a helmet. Ground effects are optional.

Greg-
With that micro-CC engine, this scooter is exempt from that law. Just thought you would like to know.

Our new place has a Koi pond with filter and small waterfall.

Have no Koi (or any other pets)....right now even fish are too complicated for us.
But we have two cute frogs have taken up residence in the Koi pond. They sit on the waterfall and wait for bugs to swim up to them.
They have a good life.

Linda and I kept trying to sneak out and look at them, but they always hide in the water when they see us.

So now, I've set up a wireless "froggy-cam" and watch a video feed of them all day long (I'm watching them right now).
Really.

I've had a box turtle in my backyard for years. Feed it a night crawler, they kinda eat them like people do spaghetti. It likes tomatoes.

Only "pet" in our backyard right now is "Chuck". a smallish woodchuck that I haven't figured out where his burrow is yet. If it's under my garage I'm gonna rename him "Stew"

"Bubble, bubble, toil an' trouble..."

mehheh.

This guy's a gopher tortoise, we found he doesn't care for celery. I'll try some tomatoes.

Just make him a salad doc and see what he leaves behind :jester:

At least he's safe inside a fence, not out in th' street chasin' cars an' suchlike.

you need to put in a small pond so he can go swimmun when he gets the urge. That or wet him down now and then. A turtles need to get wet once in a while.
No, that does not mean a pot of boiling water.

They are better breaded and fried.
