Sorry, those images are obviously faked. If they were authentic, there would be no cardboard underneath the cars. Oil would soak into the floor the way that God and HM the Queen intended.

This is a really nice deal for the members. You can store your car in the showroom or in 'cold storage'. I would guess there are about 30 cars inside right now. The weather has kept most of them in place waiting for spring.
The club is very active scheduling regular rides during the 'driving season'. They frequently hit the local show as a group as well as the vintage doings at Road America.

I'm showing my age here, but I road in a Darrin on the 4th of July in 1963. I was 12 years old. The owner was a guy who owned a farm not far from our home. He had a beautiful green 1953 Chevy pickup that he delivered fresh vegetables in on Saturday mornings.
I later found out that he had a very sedate looking 1949 Ford Club Coupe with a Caddy engine and a tri-carb setup. The dual exhausts were practically hidden under the rear bumper and it was very quiet, but drove like a bat out of hades. He had a machine shop of sorts in his barn and could build anything. It may have come from an old moonshine runner, but I wouldn't doubt that he built it just to beat the pants of the local hot rodders.

I understand that 'cold' storage is $25.00 per month and gives you one hour of shop time per month for maintenance. 'Showroon' climate-controlled storage is $50.00 per month and gets you one hour. You can also buy more shop time but I'm not sure what the cost would be.DNK said:
We are having a 'spring clean-up day' at a local bus garage in a couple of weeks (if it stops snowing!)....we get to use all the shop cleaning stuff and have a nice, big area to do it. I guess about 40 or so club cars show up for this.

That's quite remarkable. I looked into storing my LBCs during the upcoming garage project, and the rate at a couple of places near me was about $250 per month -- no garage time, no beer, no commaraderie.
How many members does the club have? There must have been some form of initial investment to get the whole thing up and running, or else there was a *very* generous benefactor.
