Getting back closer to topic, oh yes, my parents wrote letters to people because long distance was "so expensive" 3 networks and public television on the black and white tube TV.
I turned 52 this week, I think I stayed up with everything until about 5 years ago or so, embraced computers, e-mail and the internet, but I have stagnated or gotten tired of learning new things or something, could give a hoot about social media, and not sure why you need an "app" for everything when you can just go to the website for the companies services. I am starting to see more and more commercials, where I am not sure what they are selling and not sure who is elling it, but think maybe they are supposed to be famous or a celebrity.
By the way, my son is one of those class of 2016 kids, he does drive (bought him a 96 Subaru with a 5 speed manual). I think of him as constantly tied to his phone, but have talked to and seen other kids who are much worse, When he wants to learn something he goes to u-tube to see a video about it, and like they said on the report, he never listens to the radio even though he likes music.
