I took Alida for a nice drive today to the west coast of the island!! It was beautiful and sunny so we walked down to Sombreo Beach and watched the surfers!! Can you believe it??? About 60' or 65' (F)in the middle of January!! We were down to tee shirts!! I still don't think that getting on a surfboard looked that appealing, even in a wet suit!!! There was a guy down there with a digital camera hooked up to a spotting scope!! Did it ever work good!!! Looked at a couple of motorhomes for our trek next fall, Fords with 460's!! Then we went for oysters and clams!! Beat that for a day off!!!!!

I was in the chat room for a while, but you never showed up!! I was talkin' to myself!!

Alida and I are comin' back to see you guys!! I gotta help Kim build a garage!! It should be fun!!

Kim and I were talkin about a garage raisin. If she got the concrete down, tha rest wouldn't take long if she got enough help

I don't know how you guys build there, but I would suspect it would be more like we do than them guys in California!! I would suspect footing, foundation walls and a slab inside the walls!! I can do that, or I can load a bunch of tools and frame it. In a motorhome, there would be no issue of bringing tools across the border!!
I would suspect I would be better to frame it, because it might be a little difficult tying it into the house!! I have done lots of that stuff!! I would really like to help though, and will do whatever works!!

that sounds like allot of work, Kim better have lots of Beer. I'll be there if I can get any time off work. I told her I'd do the power. She doesn't know she'll have enough service to run an air compressor or a welder, but it won't hurt her to have it if she needs it

How many amp service does she have?? Is converting her range (kitchen stove) to a gas range an option?? It frees up 40 amps! Well, 25 anyway, cause you still need a dedicated circuit for a 15 amp plug!! Do you think she could find Kokanee Beer?? Check out https://www.beer.com

at least you don't have as far to go to do this favor. Gary is on the left coast of Canada and I am in southern Indiana. We're coming to Pennsylvania
