I've been reading up on how to tune the carbs. Different carbs have different hinged lever settings. If the settings are off, the floats will be off.
What effect does having the fuel at different levels in the float bowl affect the running/performance?
For the HD8 carbs I believe the hinged levers should be adjusted to 7/16".
But if the levers are set wrong, then the floats will be off. How would the following affect the car.
1. different float heights between the two bowls.
2. same height in both bowls, but floats rest at half way instead of near the top (where it should be if correctly set).
There are no stupid questions, right?
