Take it on the open trailer and wash it there at the inlaws.
 
I'm afraid to leave the car out overnight at the inlaws. They don't live in a very safe area. I have to use a covered trailer, no question. I did find a place that rents trailers in Charlotte. It looks like theyre opening a place in Greenville soon. Maybe they have their equipment in place already. I'm calling today.

Be real careful with their 'auto-transporter'. The width of the ramps is about 44 inches apart. Roughly the same (inner wheel to wheel) as a Spridget.
If you do rent one, and they ask you what car is being loaded onto it, if you say Sprite, they won't let you have it, if you say Midget, they will.

PS, Could you take a pic of the bracket that you have on your started solenoid? I need to find one but most people don't know what they look like.
