Take it on the open trailer and wash it there at the inlaws.

I'm afraid to leave the car out overnight at the inlaws. They don't live in a very safe area. I have to use a covered trailer, no question. I did find a place that rents trailers in Charlotte. It looks like theyre opening a place in Greenville soon. Maybe they have their equipment in place already. I'm calling today.

Drew: Thanks!

Uhaul rents some trailers.
Be real careful with their 'auto-transporter'. The width of the ramps is about 44 inches apart. Roughly the same (inner wheel to wheel) as a Spridget.
If you do rent one, and they ask you what car is being loaded onto it, if you say Sprite, they won't let you have it, if you say Midget, they will.

Way to go!! A very well done restoration. Congratulations..from us in line with you....now it's your turn to enjoy your creation. Hope to see you in Charleston this weekend. Xbimmer

Harold! Glad to see you posting. I might not be able to make it. My wife is having trouble getting off work. If I don't see you, good luck.

Ben

PS, Could you take a pic of the bracket that you have on your started solenoid? I need to find one but most people don't know what they look like.
