Happy Autumnal Equinox!

This morning's temperature here in Townsend was 47! Only 75 now (3:30pm EDT). I LOVE this weather!

Same here! Just over 33F this morning, now 65. Clear blue sky, light breeze, trees changing colors.

My favorite season!

How's it look in Tennessee?

Tom

With the cooler air, my Sprite seems a little zippier. Maybe it's my imagination, too.

My dachshunds always seem to get a bit more "pep in their step" in the autumn. The combination of cool air and warm sunshine seems to agree with them.

Still green here - color change is still a few weeks away, although I do see a few yellow leaves.

Green here in Eastern Oklahoma, but a slight change is starting to take place! Another 3 weeks and the leaves will be turning. I'm not a fan of Winter, hibernation time! Snow, freezing rain. :rain: . PJ

Already had a month of color here -- reds start coming in mid August. Means snow is soon to come.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :scared::cold:

Still mostly green here in News Joisey.

But my maple trees are dark red and starting to push leaves off. My property line trees are Arborvitae and White Pine so those things stay green no matter what.

We're heading for Watkins Glen in 3 weeks. *That* is one of the neatest places to go during the Fall season. We're already trying to get Friday dinner reservations at one of the local wineries up there. And maybe Seneca Lodge on Thursday night.

Here in MD, in the sweet spot of needing neither A/C nor heat in the house. Starting to wear a light jacket for the top-down morning commute. All leaves green except a neighbor's oak overhanging our lawn, stressed or dying so it's loosing leaves before any of the others. Just picked up the John Deere from service, ready to attach the Cyclone Rake lawn vacuum which I'll start needing in a couple of weeks. By that time I'm also need to change my afternoon commute route to one less "rural", sadly, on account of deer.

Freezin my butt off, had to wear shoes and a coat to go out today.
That sucks

Temps here are a good bit lower than normal. Usually September and October make for nice beach and boating time for us locals. We have to travel upstate to the mountains to get any nice fall colors. Palmettos don't change color!

70s during the day, 40s overnight here. Some trees are starting to show some changes, I expect they'll be in "full bloom" over the next couple weeks. I like that bit of crispness in the air early mornings.

Looking out my office window today, there's fresh snow on the peaks.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :cryin:

Come on Drew.
Ruin everyone's day why donecha!

My daytime temps are in the high to higher 80s with 75% humidity.

It gets down to a chilly 75 at night with 90% humidity.

I sleep on the screen porch so the northeast winds keep things very pleasant.

We are down to the lower 90s now, with overnight lows in the 70s. I tell you, it's a pretty darn nice time of the year here.

Around 80 today; this weekend it's supposed to get down to 40 or maybe a bit below.

Leaves, leaves, falling day by day..... mid 70's all week and in the mid 60's over the weekend. Good soccer weather!

Gusty winds, overcast, showers, 56 degrees at 4pm - leaves blowing all over the place. Roads and walkways covered with wet leaves can be dangerous.
