First Day of Fall!

LOL - you can't imagine how most of us here enjoy the changes over the 4 seasons!

I like four seasons too...

...I just want winter to only last between Christmas and New Years. A week or so is plenty.

One of my favorite lines after moving here from Louisiana is, "The year we left, I think winter came on a Tuesday and left Thursday."

Most certainly in total agreement with ya, sir! The last one was waaay too long here. It ran from mid-December all the way thru February. Nasty. Had to wear pants and SOCKS for much too long. :smirk:

Were in the middle of thunder storms today. Sprinkles then the sky opens up! Stops raining, looks like the suns coming out, then it starts all over. I guess were good for the day. Temps around 79, but in a couple days that will change. PJ

As I said, the temp will change in a couple days! It's 37 here this morning topping out at 70! :cold:! And I'm supposed to put the 72 in a show by request today. PJ

Hi of 55 here today - Lots of rain over the last 24 hours. sigh.... working on the garage today not the car

British V8 crowd are here in Townsend this weekend. Current temp (11:30 EDT) is around 45, bright blue skies. Some of them are driving the Tail of the Dragon, others the Parkway. Great weekend for it!

In Washington and Oregon 60's and 70's days lower 50's night. Beautiful weather. Couple days of rain. Not going back home till I'm sure the neighbor kid is done with the leaves.

low 50s at night and low 70s during the day around here now. Ideal sports car weather, as others have noted, not only is it more enjoyable to tool around, but our cars seem to like it better too. Nothing reminds me of the good old days of growing up with Sprites and Triumphs and MGs than a warm sun during the day, cool nights, the and the smells of fall, wet leaves and such, mixed with the musty odor of an old sportscar interior and a little whiff of LBC engine compartment.

Yesterday it was 97 here, today though much cooler only 90 out. It is supposed to start dropping into the 80s after that. I for one am looking forward to it.
