fenders for 1968 sprite

anyone now if you can use later 70's midget fenders on a 68 sprite? I wanted to change the square directionals to round type.
please let me know thank you

The directionals were the same basic shape until they went to the directionals in the rubber bumper. In 1970 they lowered the directionals when they went to the thin bumpers.

And then for the rubber bumper cars they made the holes larger. I just had mine filled and then put in the beehives

...except for the distance between the headlight and the turn indicator.

Earlier cars the turn signals are on the front, later cars with the side marker the turn signals migrate around the corner. The rest of the fender is the same. I cut off the lower front portion of a later fender and attached a 65 turn signal on to mine.
