Had an appointment at the VA at 8;330 this AM Fog and traffic factors but made it early... to the wrong facility!
Made a call, rescheduled for a date in January. Idiot mistake number one.
The local Veterans Park was to have a Pearl Harbor Commemoration event at 10:30, again the traffic and fog issues. Some fool did a stupid thing and I waited in stop-and-go traffic making a twenty minute trip back to th' hovel take over an hour.
Plan was to grab both D7500 bodies, put a wide-angle 10~20 on one, an 18~140 on the other. Pulled Mitsy's camera body out, put the long lens on that, the wide on mine. Got to the event a bit late but early enuff to get most of it covered. Back to the hove, insert the card from her camera and... I've nothing but shots of polar bears in a blizzard at high noon. I never checked her settings, she'd been using her camera in manual, low light settings. I have a -4 diopter on my camera. hers is a +3, I didn't see the info in the viewfinder! All I got for the effort was the wide-angle shots. Just now told her she married an idiot.
