A funny-looking dog with a big black nose

I once had a whim and I had to obey it
To buy a French Horn in a second-hand shop;
I polished it up and I started to play it
In spite of the neighbours who begged me to stop...

Well it's Bud the Spud, from the bright red mud,
Rollin' down the highway smilin',
The spuds are big on the back of Bud's rig,
There from Prince Edward Island

I was bopping down the road today with the Beatles Anthology
and heard this line:
Her name was McGill, she called herself Lil, but everyone knew her as Nancy.
Rocky Raccoon unplugged no less.

or maybe ... "See what the boys in the back room will have, and tell 'em I'm having the same. Yes, see what the boys in the back room will have, and give 'em the poison they name."

And believe it or not, I had a "date" with her, back in summer of 1967, Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. I tried to impress her by having a gin and tonic; she had tea, melba toast and cottage cheese.

Those were the days, my friend.

Driving Miss B to dinner tonight we popped in a Stones CD.
I love the line from Country Honk "Sitting 'n in bar...
sippin' n' a jar in Jackson.".
Made us laughed about how our recently departed pooch would
always perk up and look around when the car horn honks at the beginning of the song.
Also..."You'll always have a space in my parking lot"
Man, that's a GREAT album..

favorite line for one of my favorite albums...

"it fills me with the urge to defecate!"

Another favorite line (2 lines actually) from my favorite band...

"You said you didn't give a [censored] about hockey!"
"I never saw someone say THAT before!"

Haha. I'm at the beach this week (LBI, NJ) and we've "set sail with Captain Morgan" several times (thanks to my sons-in-law).

And I've heard "it's five o'clock <span style="text-decoration: underline">somewhere</span>" quite a bit this week.

This reminds me of another favourite line (actually, album title): <span style="font-style: italic">"Bless his pointed little head"</span>

Gettin' pretty tired of stoppin'
In old run down cafes
Some day I'm gonna find me a woman
Rich enough to pay my way

My oh my, you sure know how to arrange things,
You set it up so well, so carefully
Ain't it funny how your new life didn't change things
You're still the same old girl you used to be......
