Well, it's a know fact that five thumbs Dale is
rather auto-mechanically challenged. But I can hold
my own in the designing department. That nice, new
"roll bar" on my finally restore TR6 is in fact an
exhaust fume barrier.
Many folks suffer from Asthma, COPD or other bad lung
ailments and cannot tolerate levels of CO or CO2. I am
one of these folks and the exhaust fumes that enter my
car from behind made driving difficult. My Fume Barrier
works like a charm and I no longer need to carry an
emergency inhaler when I drive the Six.
I designed a decent looking Exhaust Fume Barrier. It can
be installed without the Lexan window for a cosmetic
"roll bar".
Here's a copy of my design detail blue print and the step
by step "How To": should one be needed for other cars.
