up here in the north country we have ethanol in our gas. Just wondering if anyone out ther has had a problem with thi type of alcohol. Just filled up and found a gas leak in a fles fuel line. Am I alone here. The mix is just 10% ethanol. Just asking as I have heard other horror stories. Bill

Bill, I've been running the 10% ethanol mix in a '72 Midget for at least 8 years, and have had no fuel related problems whatsoever that I could attribute to the gasoline used. As a matter of fact, the only fuel system problem I've had was a leaking fuel pump, shortly after I put the car back on the road. It had been sitting for 13 years, and the seals at the pump fittings had dried out.
The fuel system is entirely stock.
