All:

To begin, Merry Christmas to everyone and my wishes to you for a happy holiday season.

Next, I bought a generic engine stand. I have a 948 engine i want to bolt to the stand. Can anyone recommend the type of bolts I should use (including recommended length) so I can attach it to the stand?

Also: I looked at the engine before posting, It appears to me I will likely have to remove the clutch plate and flywheel before trying to attach it to the stand, correct?

Hi Mike, Not sure about a 948. never had a engine stand back then, but a 1275 sits on one in the shop atm and it bolts up to the rear generator mounting holes..
