And running and shifting!
Thanks to Glen for letting me know about the backplate difference between the ribcase and the smooth.
Pulled the engine and tranny out and had it back in and running within 7 hours and this time I did almost all of the work with hubby turning some of the screws that he tightened too much for me to budge.
Now I just need to find someone to fine tune the weber carb and get my brake light switch in so I can drive it to the title office and get my registration and title. Haven't been able to do that since I could not drive it and here you have to have a visual inspection to get your title if you buy from outta state.
Other than that I washed it up, more scratches on it now from our repairs but figure those will be gone soon with the new paint job this fall. Cleaned up the carpet as best as I could and he is looking good. Got two compliments from people driving by it as I was drying it off!
Once I get my tags I will get some new pictures of me and the car up.
Thanks again so much!!!!
