TR6 Engine and engine bay color, TR6?

Hello,
I am painting various parts in the engine bay. Most colors are obvious, but the black parts are not. It looks to me like all items that were originally painted black on the engine itself were semigloss black. All the rest of the items (horns, brake booster, ...) appear to have been originally gloss black. Is this correct?
Thanks, Kevin

Kevin,
Attached is a picture of my engine bay. The car now has 18.6 K miles. Except for the coil and Pertronix ignition, and battery everything should be factory original colors.

Hi Kevin,

Semi-gloss or low-gloss black is probably correct in most cases. Not much use of high gloss under the hood of any car, except for the body color.

Kevin,
I started to post a better picture yesterday but the network died. This shot shows more of the left side of the engine.

Thanks for the picture. It is helping me with other issues also. From the picture, it looks like the engine is semigloss and the rest of the items painted black were gloss.
