Electrical Fun

Well, that was easy.

On my harness there is a black ground that I assumed should be connected to the fuel guage. With that wire connected and the sender hooked up it make a short. With it disconnected things work as they should.

Whats even more odd is that the gauge is grounded through the mounting bracket. Well, at least it works now.

On to the right turn signal.
 
Hello Ben,

just buy one circuit breaker, and disconnect all circuits that are fed from that fuse. Temporarily connect the circuit breaker to a live source. Connect each circuit one by one until you find out what trips the breaker, that narrows down your search.
