STOP!! Never post your email address in open forums. Bots can "harvest" your email! If you must share your email use a Private Message or use the 
smilie in place of the real @

UPDATE: If jcw67spitfire sent you an invitation to his group and you have already accepted the invite, then you are a member! You can go into that group and start posting (recommend posting in the group FORUM - NOT- the Group Discussion. Just use the forum area like any other forum if you're a member.
Sorry for the confusion. The only time he will need to approve a member is when that member isn't directly invited but rather "requests" membership - in that can the group owner much approve.
